Inside these pages, you will find information about our group, advice on what to do if you find an orphaned, injured, or displaced native animal, and our ever growing carer directory, lists wildlife, rescue, and care groups across Australia.

Also inside, we have featured animal stories, fact sheets, information about the wildlife in our area, things you can do to help, and links to other sites of interest.

Offering an invaluable service to both the residents and wildlife of the Tweed Valley, our group now receives nearly 3000 calls a year, translating to around 1500 animals per year either taken into care - or in the case of many "orphaned baby birds" - reunited with their parents. Please enjoy the site, and if you would like to help our dedicated team of volunteers, you can make a donation with the PayPal™ button above, or click here

Become a volunteer

Becoming a wildlife care volunteer is a very rewarding experience. If you live in the Tweed Valley, you can phone our 24 hour hotine for more information, or download an application form from our member news page here. For any other regions - visit our carer directory to find the group closest to you here
